Ringo von Rhens is a beautiful larger sized 6 year old German Shepherd.
Per his foster mom:
Aside from being the typical, "seasoned" German Shepherd which is housebroken, a dream to walk on a leash and an experienced road warrior, riding very well in the car, RINGO is a JOY to have around. He is extremely well-behaved around the home, inside and out. He knows his boundaries and is very respectful of everything and person around him. RINGO loves to give kisses in the form of gentle tongue licks on your forearm or face to say thank you for the walk you're about to embark on with him, or just to say thank you for the yummy meal you just served him. He is extremely grateful for everything, even a bowl of freshened ice water. RINGO is always ready for a walk, a hike a brief run or any adventure you are up for. He especially LOVES the car ride to and from that adventure. If you want to nap, RINGO is up for an afternoon nap as well. He also knows when it's bedtime and at certain times of the day when you're busy, he is well aware and becomes very independent and give you your space. He will most likely go outside or to another room to gnaw on a toy or a bone. His preference is a large bone. RINGO is such a cuddlebug and gentle giant. He won't force himself on your lap, however tempting it may be, but rather, he'll place his whole head onto your lap for kisses and cuddles. He loves hugs. He's always smiling and he will keep you company in the kitchen while you cook dinner. He knows it takes time for preparation so he'll lay out of your way and patiently wait for the grub to be done. He can be exhuberant when the meal is served into his bowl. He loves to eat and is very enthusiastic about it. What dog isn't. RINGO wakes up in an incredibly happy mood every morning and morphs into puppy mode wanting to roll around and snuggle with you before jumping out of his bed. He's very playful and loves roughhousing but only on your terms. He's very gentle and self-aware of his size. Once RINGO is in your home, you will ask yourself what took so long to welcome such a beautiful, loyal and smart companion in. Once RINGO is in your heart, you will be asking him, "Where have you been all my life".
